"One handed bassist", ou um pouquinho mais

Kimberly Lynn:

- Solo performer 'bassed' around a five string and six string Alembic Epic,
a Boss RC-50 loop station and/or a Roland GR-20 synthesizer and sometimes
a stand alone drum machine.
- early childhood injury to her left hand that affected her thumb, middle
and ring finger i.e. parts of those fingers are missing.
- Na adolescência, ela machucou sua mão esquerda, perdendo parte de seus
dedos - polegar, médio e anular. Ela mesmo comenta: My "childhood" (age 15)
injury left me with enough remaining digits to be able to sustain being
left handed, (though for a couple of years I focused on training my right
hand for the 'everyday tasks' ie writing, tooth brushing etc). When I
realized I could write better left handed than right handed, I switched
back. Actually learning to play happened about six months after losing my
fingers and was initially therapeutic, but it didn't take long at all to '
discover my calling'. First pro gig at 17 years old.
